As both an actor and an educator, I feel myself drawn to lighting up the lives of others through the magic of theatre. I believe the arts to be intrinsically healing, and I share those curative powers with everyone I meet. My passion for performing has propelled me to evermore challenging roles spanning drama, comedy, the classics, and experimental theatre. Some of my favorite theatrical credits include The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (Betty Dullfeet), Indecent (U/S Vera), The Addams Family (Uncle Fester), Avenue Q (Rod), and The Miracle Worker (Kate Keller). I have also ventured into the realm of film, some credits of which include I’m Your Puppet (Lead), Polar (Lead), Teacher’s Pet (Supporting), and Schrodinger’s Pu**y (Supporting). Additionally, I have begun dipping my toes into the waters of voiceover work, and recently recorded a national radio spot for The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
As a teacher, I also devote much of my time to nurturing youth in community settings. I want to afford our children just as many life-changing opportunities as I myself was once afforded as a young girl. Theatre provided me a home, a family, a purpose, and so very much more. I believe every child deserves the same. I most recently spent this past summer working as the head drama instructor at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood’s Young Actors summer program in Hollywood, FL.
I am currently in my fourth year as a BFA Acting student at the University of Central Florida. Having just spent the summer as a teaching artist at StartStruck Academy & Theatre, I am now back in Orlando teaching kiddos theatre and working to finish up my degree.
In my time spent outside of the theatre, I enjoy creative writing, figure skating, and playing with my beagle (his name is Elvis. He ain't nothing but a hound dog). My most joyful moments are spent sharing art onstage, as well as offering our youth the artistic opportunities I believe every human should have access to. Thank you for taking the time to come and explore my page, and thank you for supporting the magic.
